Guarachando Festival returns to Strasbourg for its fourth edition, run by the city's own Salsa Guarachando school and held in the Pavillon Joséphine, set in the Parc de l'Orangerie. Twenty-five hours of classes run from Friday through to Sunday evening, covering Cuban salsa, son, rueda de casino, reparto, reggaeton, Afro-contemporary and fusion. What distinguishes it from a general Latin weekender is a room reserved for Cuban folklore, taught with live musicians: rumba cubana, ciclo congo, arará and yoruba. Evenings bring three parties and two before-parties with international DJs, plus a Rumba Abierta concert and the DJ contest introduced at the last edition. Teachers announced so far include Yenifer Lavin, Adonis Santiago, Relámpago, Yusimi Moya Rodríguez, FredyClan, Yorgenis Danger García, Aliuska Barrientos, Yordani Lozano, Lorenys Rodríguez and Carlos Manolo, with DJs Tom Nka, Jack el Calvo, Assane and Jimi Jacks.
