Salsa festivals

Salsa is less one dance than a family of them, named in New York in the 1960s and 70s for music drawing on Cuban son, mambo and Puerto Rican traditions. What the word means varies by city: in Havana it means casino, in New York a linear dance on the second beat, in Cali something faster again. Most festivals use it as a catch-all, so the more specific tags tell you more.
