Reparto festivals

Reparto is the newest of these, born in Havana's outer neighbourhoods in the 2010s and danced to a music of the same name built on reggaeton and Cuban rhythms. It is loose, percussive and isolation-heavy, often danced alone, and it reached European festivals faster than any Cuban style before it. Its status inside Cuba is contested, which is worth knowing before you take a class.
